When I was young, I had
dreams of discovering something big which could change the universe. I’m an
Engineer by profession but writing has been my passion since my school-days. I
specialize in the field of Chemical Engineering by thinking of rocket and missile
construction. I always wanted to discover something flashy and exciting that
would fascinate and wonder the people. It doesn’t mean that I'd actually dig
something out of the ground.
On the other hand, I’m fond of reading books, more of a bookworm where I managed myself in reading some pieces and to dig deep into
Tibetan politics. Which doesn't mean that I want to become a politician but
it's my sole responsibility to give my attention on Tibetan politics, where my
country has been having a hard time under Chinese illegal occupation since
1959. I always tried to contribute a bit but it never happened as I was
expecting.
I’m grown up now, my
learning appetite slowing down a bit and looking back; I don’t think I was ever
a pioneer in anything I did. But I grew to realize that knowledge is a
community, and my role would be to add a tiny grain of rice to the pile, which
still keeps on exciting for me. Learning new things was the biggest passion of
my life. Somehow, we should learn to accept that our passion isn't universal,
but it's a matter of how we interpret our knowledge and feel the satisfaction
at the end of our share might only benefit a few people.
